I didn't realize there was so much to flour alone. This is good education, I just started my bread making journey and I am very concerned with the quality of flour I use, so this is great... a bit overwhelming too since I'm new at it. I definitely appreciate the old method of making bread, I tried making sourdough starter using the modern method and got very frustrated so I had to toss it all and figured I'll figure it out later, while I tried a different recipe. Anyways... thank you, great channel!

I watch videos where many people keep discarding over and over and they make lovely videos but I CANNOT THROW AWAY GOOD FLOUR.....I cannot, period. I cannot waste this. So I have to do it your way, as no way am I throwing away perfectly good flour that can make another loaf of bread or biscuits or gravy or even a pizza or a cake, so I'm with you. subscribed and saved for future reference. thanks so much!

Thank you for such a simple way to make a sourdough starter! I love this way it is so easy and no waste. I have had great success with your method. I used rye flour and store bought yogurt with active cultures and caraway seed. After the 3rd day I had bubbles. But waited for 5 days and i had a rise about half from the startup. I made sourdough loaf bread and it came out delicious. Thank you so much for this amazing sourdough starter! I was always intimidated with the discarding method. Thank you for sharing your method of no waste of throwing out the extra starter. Your method is so easy to start and keep up, that I'm no longer intimidated. Thank you!

I’ve got the same kind of run. I don’t leave them in except during bad weather or possible bad weather days so I need to look at that. I’ve built a stick and scrap 2x4 roost in the corner. So those are hanging bout what waist high?

Your bunnies look just like mine. I would love to know how well those metal walk in chicken coops held up. How many years did they last? Any snow? I ended up with a 10-feet by 6-feet A-Frame with 14 gauge 1-inch by 1/2-inch hardware cloth floor with metal corrugated roof panel to funnel the pee, and I'm building a fenced in area around that A-Frame; and I made another for the boys out of an 86"x40" chicken coop with 13.5-feet by 40-inch wood floor with the 14 gauge hardware cloth floor and a dog house with large roofed area. I would like to add an underground colony area next.

Also, I have found that taking a magnesium, high dose vitamin D3, and K2 supplement helps a lot in reversing the digestive issues that make you intolerant. High dose B1 as well. Because it helps to process the glucose quicker
